
Sally Montague Hair Group are a chain of exclusive salons across Derby. We were asked to give the brand an overhaul whilst staying true to the values and customers they hold so dear.
The design work translates the premium nature
of the brand reflecting the exclusivity of the
salons within the group. The new style seen
on the website was then applied across all promotional items and distributed to coincide
with the launch of the new site and salon opening.

Xtreme Adventures is a series of challenging events designed to push both your mental and physical capabilities.
Originally a single event, Xtreme Adventures
were looking to develop their brand and expand, creating a new event coinciding with the launch of a new look.
Our solution was to create a brand that visually illustrated the physicality of the events and the
fun involved, whilst at the same time creating a diverse brand that is both appealing and full of life.

Matthew Montague Architects are an award winning practice based in Derby.
We have worked with MMA on a number of projects, including: all stationary, promotional brochures, advertising and window banners.
The design work produced is sophisticated
and reflects the design conscious nature of the business and the industry as a whole. The result has been an impressive response to their work increasing the company presence both locally
and across the Midlands.

Liberty Freedom clothes appear in some of the most illustrious and exclusive sporting outlets throughout the world. The idea behind the range is to bring a touch of punk rock to traditional ladies country wear.
The idea behind the concept for the logo is
based on a traditional 'coat of arms' with a stamp of classic punk rock in the form of a tweed St George cross in the middle of the crest. Along with establishing the brand identity we developed the website and a series a series of clothing tags.

The Codeworks are a web and software consultancy specialising in imaginative development for businesses online.
We were asked to come up with a series of
ideas for their identity using the core values of the brand, placing a strong emphasis on creativity and the technically special nature of their work. We went on to produce three strong ideas, including unique logotypes, symbols and colour schemes, resulting in a difficult choice for the client.

Bamfords are Derbyshire's leading Auctioneers and Valuers, specialising in Antiques and Fine Art.
Here we produced a concept for the re-design of their website, giving it a fresh, contemporary and professional appeal. We also recommended using a flexible content management system to allow Bamfords to update and maintain the whole site themselves. Focusing particularly on the main catalogue section of the site we vastly improved the functionality creating a much more user friendly experience.

Youth is a design concept for a magazine aimed at young design, music and fashion conscious adults with a passion for keeping up to date with all the latest emerging trends from these markets.
The design concept for the magazine reflects
its ethos through its use of graphic design, illustration, photography and typography all of which aim to inspire and give aspiration to the reader. The final magazine will use an array of print and finishing techniques to produce an eye catching result.

The Flowered Edge is a contract florist specialising in weddings, funerals, retail and events.
We helped them to establish a new brand identity that reflected the nature of the business and the quality of product and service they provide.
The sophisticated identity was then used as the basis for a visual style that was then applied across a series of promotional items such as, aprons, bags, signs and stationary, revitalising
the brand.

The following work was used as a proposal to Virgin and was not used for commercial purposes.
The proposal was made for Virgin Env Homes, a affordable, environmental and sustainable housing project to bring families in the 21st century to the edge of a zero carbon existence.
We created a name, logo and brochure that
both reflected the environmental vision and architectural values that were so important, bringing the concept to life with clarity.

The following series of greetings cards were designed as part of a concept for a pitch to a London based publishers and were not used for commercial purposes.
A number of designs were produced covering a variety of occasions from Birthdays to Christmas. As part of the pitch we made a proposal to have the designs produced using a variety of beautiful eye-catching techniques, including embossing, clear varnish coatings and foil typography.

After such a controversial response to the initial unveiling of the logo for the up and coming 2012 London Olympics we put togehter a quick idea of our own, just for fun!
We look forward to the forthcoming Olympics in 2012 and can't wait to see all the accompanying marketing campaings.
